Crimes reported over the past seven days. Burglary Dwelling At 1.30am on Monday 25 May in Outram Street, Sutton in Ashfield, a green coloured bike left in the main hall of a house was stolen by by someone who entered through the door which had been left open by a house mate. Between 3.00pm on Friday 29 and 12.45am on Saturday 30 May in Davies Avenue, Sutton in Ashfield, a handle was pulled off a front door and a window was smashed in an attempt to break into a property. Burglary Other Nothing to report Theft of motor vehicle Between 6.30pm and 7.30pm on Wednesday 27 May in Butterworth Road, Sutton in Ashfield, after a car was advertised for sale on Autotrader UK, three males arrived to make a purchase. Money was handed over to the seller and they left with the car. The seller checked the cash and found it was well short of the agreed sale price. Between 1.00am and 8.00am on Tuesday 2 June in Charles Street, Sutton in Ashfield, a white Ford Ranger Wildtrak EcoBlue car was stolen. Between 3.12pm and 3.27pm on Tuesday 2 June at the Depot Entrance , Station Road, Sutton in Ashfield, a Greenmech Global Chipper was stolen. Normally orange in colour this one was green and black. It was seen being pulled by a black Renault Espace or Scenic people carrier. It was latter tracked and recovered. Theft from motor vehicle Around 3.00am on Tuesday 2 June at Brierley Cottages, Sutton in Ashfield, a grey Toyota Prius car was broken into and searched. Theft Between 10.00am and 10.10am on Friday 29 May in Stuart Street, Sutton in Ashfield, a grey Claud Butler Electric bike laying on the ground in ‘Lemmo’ park was stolen by a white male dressed all in black and wearing a balaclava. He picked it up and rode off leaving the park and heading towards the shops. Between 9.00am and 12.00am on Tuesday 2 June at the Leamington Hall Flats, Stuart Street, Sutton in Ashfield, a garden sunbed was stolen from the communal area. Criminal Damage Between 7.19pm on Monday 25 and 7.19pm on Sunday 31 May at the Sutton Centre, Sutton Community Academy, High Pavement, Sutton in Ashfield, a report of fencing being damaged to gain forced entry to the grounds, football goal netting and the playing surface being damaged and glass bottles being smashed all over the area. ASB At 10.22 on Friday 29 May at Beechwood Court, Beechwood Close, Sutton in Ashfield, a male was in the courtyard drinking and smoking cannabis. He was arguing with and abusing everyone as they walked by. At 3.09pm on Sunday 31 May in Charnwood Street, Sutton in Ashfield, a report of a petrol powered go-cart and two motorbikes being ridden by teenagers and adults on the recreation ground. There is an ongoing issue with motorised bikes etc. being ridden on the park. At 11.42pm on Sunday 31 May at Castlewood Service Station, Farmwell Lane, Sutton in Ashfield, a report of a gathering of over 30 ‘Boy Racer’ vehicles, being anti-social and blocking access to the pumps. At 3.30pm on Tuesday 2 June in Lammas Road, Sutton in Ashfield, a white male, 5-10”, stocky build, wearing a blue top and shorts, black hoodie with a Nottingham Forest tattoo on his right lower leg, was abusing people walking by outside the Leisure Centre.
